Environmental Impact and Recycling

Demolition has the potential to have a huge impact on our environment. The demolition industry contributes to around 43% to environmental landfill. This is a huge volume of waste.

At Swan Hill Demolition & Asbestos Removal we recognise this as a huge problem and it is our vision to reduce this impact where ever possible. We are committed to recycling between 80-90% of all waste products. Most waste products that come from a demolition site have the potential to have a second life whether it’s steel, concrete, bricks, timber or even trees and vegetation not wanted on a property.

Our experienced operators ensure that the demolished materials are able to be sorted accurately onsite to ensure all recyclable materials are fit for reuse. In the coming months Swan Hill Demolition & Asbestos Removal will open its own scrap metal and recycling yard to make our vision a reality. It is a very exciting step towards a sustainable future in our industry.

Recently Swan Hill Demolition & Asbestos Removal open its own recycling yard where all recyclable items are processed for future use.
